I am glad I read the comments below 🙂 At first I thought I had to install all the code even after adding the plug-in. I thought to myself, well that is pointless to have a plug-in and have to add all the coding. Glad to hear that the plug-in takes care of it all. Thanks for you video. It was very easy to follow. Great job!!! 🙂

Hi, once I downloaded the monsterinsights, do I still need to do the next step where you copied the code to the theme? Plus, how long it will show up on google analytics? I have activated monsterinsight and google analytics is still showing "right now 0 active user on site"

Hi, in the past I thought I installed google analytics to my site. Only to see that it has not been tracking anything. So I installed the monster insights exactly how you did. If I have the plugin do I still need to insatll the tracking code provided by google ? Can they work together or is the plugin on its own good enough?

Hey WP Smackdown, this is a great video…really useful. I downloaded the plugin "Headers and Footers", where I in turn pasted my Tracking Code snippet. Do you think that this is enough or do you ave to locate the header.php folder. If so could you tell me how you find the folder from the WordPress 2017 dashbard. Thank you

Thank you for the video! Quick question though – I saw similar videos a few years ago saying that you could use your own email address (not gmail) to use Google Analytics. Is this still true or do you specifically need to sign up for a new gmail account?
    Thanks in advance 🙂

Question, if you are running the SEO/Google Analytics for clients, do you use your own GA account and create properties to get the codes and be able to see overall GA on one page, or separate GA accounts for each SEO client?

Great video, really helped! I had trouble with 12:29… I looked in my website maker (XPRS Editor) and i looked everywhere for what you talked about. I only found a part where you copy and paste a HTML code, or Header Code. Would i copy-and-paste that Website Tracking script into the HTML part?

At the 14 minute mark (around that time) you talk about putting that code in the header? If I am using site123.com or wix does that code automatically get put in the header? (I'm not holding you to anything, so if you know, cool. If not, cool. 🙂 ) Thanks.

In the FAQ area on MonsterInsights, it says the Plugin is not supported for WordPress.com (Free version). It indicates it is only supported for WordPress.org. Is that true? I am on the WealthyAffiliates site which apparently has the Open Source version.

Errrr. I set my site up with Heliohost and Opencart (100% free Cpanel method). Managed to add the GA code under extensions but nowhere do i see an option to exclude admin or other users. Would you happen to know if this is possible with the technique i chose to go with?

This help me so much but I'm not good at English 🙁 I'm confused about WP Monster Insight Plug-in. Can you pls tell me if I wrongly understand? My understanding is WP MonsterInsight Plug in it will help me to paste the tracking code to my personalised website instead I directly paste it via my website which it's so technically that's too hard for non-IT person like me, is this right?

Thank you so much for your helpful video!!!

    Arty.
